New Medicare cards are coming

Medicare is mailing new Medicare cards to all people with Medicare from April 2018 - April 2019. Your card will have a new Medicare Number instead of a Social Security Number.

Make sure your mailing address is up to date so you get your new card. Visit or call -800-772-1213 (TTY: 1-800-325-0778) to correct your mailing address.

Our counselors are trained in Medi-Cal and Medicare and can help you navigate the complex insurance options to find the best fit for you. HICAP services are free of charge and are available at several locations throughout Tulare and Kings Counties, including Visalia, Tulare, Porterville, Dinuba, and Hanford. You can also learn about Medicare or Medi-Cal by attending one of the many community presentations or conferences conducted by HICAP counselors.
